Century Modern businesses, events, and stories. We’re passionate about
preserving and celebrating the design movement that transformed American
architecture and interior design in the post-war era.

businesses, designers, and resources that keep this iconic design

Our Geographic Focus
We’re starting in Palm Springs, the crown jewel of Mid Century Modern
architecture and design in America. This desert oasis is home to iconic
buildings by Richard Neutra, Albert Frey, and William F. Cody, along with
a thriving community of MCM businesses and enthusiasts.
We’re expanding to include other cities with significant Mid Century
Modern heritage, including Dallas, Santa Fe, and Chicago. Each metro area
we add brings its own unique flavor to the broader story of American
modernism.
Why “Curated”?
Not every business selling “vintage” or “retro” furniture makes it into
our directory. We focus on businesses that:
– Specialize in authentic Mid Century Modern pieces (approximately
1945-1969)
– Demonstrate knowledge and respect for the design movement
– Offer quality products and services
– Contribute positively to the MCM community
We believe in quality over quantity. Every listing in our directory has
been reviewed to ensure it meets our standards and serves our community
well.
For Business Owners
Are you a Mid Century Modern business owner? We’d love to feature you in
our directory. We offer both free basic listings and enhanced paid
listings with additional features like logos, multiple photos, and
priority placement.
